Huawei Nova 4 spotted in the wild with display hole and headphone jack
With Samsung gearing up to release its first Infinity-O smartphone, it was revealed earlier today that Huawei has its own alternative up its sleeves in the form of the Nova 4. And now, just hours later, this device appears to have been spotted in the wild for the first time.

Just as expected from Samsung’s Galaxy A8s, the Huawei Nova 4 appears to utilize a large cut-out in the top-left corner of the display that is home to the front-facing selfie camera. Presumably, this will be accompanied by relatively slim bezels above and on either side of the display, while a slightly thicker chin is expected to be present. However, due to the large case that Huawei has installed in order to conceal the smartphone’s design, the size of each bezel remains unclear.

Despite these uncertainties, one feature that is clearly visible is the 3.5mm headphone jack on top which will certainly please hardcore fans. This will likely be combined with a USB Type-C port down below, Huawei’s homegrown Kirin 980, 6GB of RAM, and EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie straight out of the box.

Huawei hasn’t confirmed an exact release date for the Nova 4 but a recent teaser confirmed that an announcement will take place in January. Sales will likely commence in China later on in the month, while international markets should receive the device in early 2019.
