Honor reveals its first 5G smartphone will arrive in 2019
Honor has just announced it will launch its first 5G smartphone sometime in 2019. Honor is only the newest handset makers that jumped on the 5G bandwagon, so the beginning of 2019 shapes up to be pretty exciting for those looking to get their hands 5G devices.

Honor's President, Mr. George Zhao said at the World INS Conference 2018 held in Beijing that his company's first 5G smartphone will be released in 2019 but did not provide a clear timeframe yet. He also said that mobile carriers that can find the best solutions for their customers will become the top players to lead the 5G era.

It appears that 2019 will be the year of 5G, so the question is if there will be enough smartphones to support the new technology available in the market, but whether or not carriers will be able to offer enough coverage to justify customers' investments in these 5G smartphones.

Huawei, Samsung, Lenovo, and Honor are just some of the companies that will launch 5G phones in the first half of 2019, but we can safely assume that others will follow to avoid being left behind.

Nothing else matters to anyone, but Apple's event. Apple can go until 2020 to adopt to 5G. They will still sell phones. Unfortunately, Android has to sell specs and features to sell phones and including a 5G band.

LMAO! You're seriously deluding yourself if you think "nothing else matters to anyone, but Apple's event". If that were the case, Apple would have the highest share of the smartphone market in places like China, the world's largest market for smartphones.

Hahahahahahaha. Apples, event will be the same as it has in years past. And speak for yourself. My baby girls birthday will be the only thing I care about on September 12 of any year, until the day I die. So, stop drinking the kool-aid and take a seat.

Nice to see that Honor is putting out a 5G smartphone next year. They put out some of the best bang-for-your-buck smartphones out today.
