Honor 10 Lite officially introduced with water-drop notch, Android Pie
On paper, the new Honor 10 Lite has all the traits needed to become a commercial success, but fierce competition on the Chinese smartphone market might hurt its sales. Although we're expecting Huawei to bring the Honor 10 Lite to other markets very soon, the company is likely to rely on sales in the Chinese market above all else.

This is the second Android Pie-powered smartphone launched by Honor, after the Magic 2, and, coincidence or not, both have been introduced in China. Unlike the Honor Magic 2, the Honor 10 Lite is a mid-range device equipped with Huawei's Kirin 710 processor and either 4GB or 6GB RAM.

What makes the Honor 10 Lite stand out is the massive 6.2-inch display that features a waterdrop notch, as well as the multiple gradient color options that customers can choose from such as Midnight Black, Lily White, Gradient Blue, and Gradient Red.

Furthermore, the phone packs an impressive 24-megapixel camera in the front, and a dual rear camera (13MP+2MP). The Honor 10 Lite may be a bit undergeared with the 3,000 mAh battery, but AI features like Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness should make up for it.

As far as the pricing goes, the Honor 10 Lite is available for purchase in China for $200 (4/64GB model), $245 (6/64GB model), and $275 (6/128GB model), respectively. Of course, expect slightly higher prices when Honor decides to bring it to other markets.
