HTC Ville coming to T-Mobile, according to rumors; HTC Family service in the works
Okay, the following may be nothing but a rumor at this time, but according to the guys at Pocketnow, the yet-to-be-announced HTC Ville will launch on T-Mobile. In case you haven't heard of the HTC Ville before, it is supposed to be a high-end Ice Cream Sandwich offering that should also boast a sub-8-millimeter waistline at the same time. Additionally, rumor has it that the smartphone will be powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip and that its 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display will boast qHD resolution. What will allegedly be also mentioned on the smartphone's specs sheet is that it will have an 8-megapixel camera on its back and will be complemented by Beats Audio technology.

However, bear in mind that the existence of the HTC Ville has not been confirmed yet, so whether it will ever see the light of day remains a mystery. On the other hand, if the smartphone is to launch soon, the MWC expo, which kicks off in February, might be the perfect occasion for its announcement.

But the HTC-related rumors do not end here. Evidence exists that the company is working on a new service called HTC Family. And those of you who have kept good track of all HTC-related might be aware that the company may also introduce the HTC Play and the HTC Read services, which are said to be a mobile gaming portal and a book store respectively. According to people in the know, the HTC Family service will make it easy for family members to leave personal messages on a “Wall” and to keep track on scheduled events. There will also be a tracking functionality and content-sharing features.

Of course, whether the HTC Family service will ever launch or not is anyone's guess at this time. After all, it was back in May of last year when we first heard about the HTC Play and HTC Read, yet no announcements have been made to this day. Or perhaps HTC is just taking its time perfecting its rumored services?
