Diesel, Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger announce new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches

As expected, Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger revealed their new smartwatches powered by Android Wear 2.0. The surprise comes from Diesel, as the fashion brand announced a smartwatch of its own, the On.

All three were announced at BaselWorld this week and, just like many others that we've reported about, will be available for purchase later this year.

Unfortunately, aside from prices and a couple of pictures with their wearable devices, no other info was disclosed about the new smartwatches. Anyway, here is what we know about them besides the fact they run Android Wear 2.0.

Diesel On looks more like a rugged smartwatch, though it's not. It's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip, and it will cost $325. Nothing else is known regarding specs like display size and connectivity options.

The Touch is Hugo Boss' first Android Wear smartwatch. It's made of carbon black IP stainless steel, and it features interchangeable straps. It comes with Android Pay and NFC support, but it will not include heart rate sensor. This one will be available in August for $395.

Last but not least, Tommy Hilfiger TH24 packs the same Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, but it lacks NFC and heart rate sensor. We also know it will go on sale for $299, later this year.
