Deal: Refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 discounted by 43% at Walmart

The 2-year-old Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is likely to be discontinued soon, but retailers still have some refurbished units up for grabs if you can't afford to buy a new one. Although this isn't the best deal on Samsung's tablet, the discount offered by Walmart is significant enough.

For a limited time, the refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 16GB is available for purchase at Walmart for just $115.50, a 43% off the tablet's MSRP. There's only one color choice up for grabs: Smoky Titanium. It's also worth mentioning that this is the Wi-Fi only variant of the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 16GB tablet.

The slate ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop on board and, as the name suggests, an 8-inch display that supports 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.

On a side note, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (not refurbished) was available for just $99 on eBay last year, so keep that in mind before spending your money.

Crap tablet line. They even got the A monicker yet cant perform well like their A line phone counterparts.

The A 7" sucks (I guess, considering the specs it got). The 8" and 9.7" versions are pretty snappy in their price range though, and they perform much better than the Tab 4 line. I never had any problem with the A 9.7" for the whole year I owned it. For a little over $100 I don't think any other tablet can match this.
