Check out the latest images and specs of the Motorola Moto M (XT1662)
Earlier today, we told you that the Motorola Moto M had appeared on AnTuTu, and in the process some of the phone's specs had been confirmed. However, a new series of photos starring the handset leaked today. Included is a slide with the latest updated specs revealing that the brand new MediaTek Helio P15 chipset is under the hood sporting a true octa-core (Cortex-A53) CPU, and a Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. Yesterday's listing on AnTuTu had the Helio P10 SoC driving the device.

The rest of the leaked specs show that 4GB of RAM is inside, along with 32GB of internal storage. A 128GB capacity microSD slot is available to those seeking additional memory. A 13MP camera (with PDAF) graces the back of the device, and a front-facing 8MP camera snaps selfies and handles video chats. Keeping the lights on is a 3050mAh battery, and Android 6.0 is pre-installed.

Today's leaked images show off the phone's rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. One photo  reveals that a Type-C USB port is on the bottom, along with a dual speaker setup. The phone comes with a protective coating from P2i that allows the handset to survive a light rain storm or a splash. Do not submerge the device.

The version of the Moto M that will be available in China comes with Microsoft apps like Skype, OneDrive and Office pre-installed. For some reason, the phone has been given the code name "Kung Fu," and we expect to see it unveiled on November 8th. In the meantime, you can check out the latest images of the handset by clicking on the slideshow below.
