Check out the Moto Maker options for Motorola's Moto X Pure Edition (Style)

9comments

Announced last week alongside the Moto X Play and Moto G (2015), the Moto X Style will be the last among Motorola's three new handsets to hit the market. In the US, the smartphone is known as the Moto X Pure Edition, and, just like last year's Moto X, it will come with various customization options (via Moto Maker).

While Motorola has yet to show us what Moto Maker options will be available for its new flagship, a recently leaked image - see above - seems to be revealing all the options. Needless to say, there will be a lot of them, including leather, wood, and plastic back shells, multiple metal accents, three different anodized aluminum frames (silver, champagne, and grey), and even speaker and camera bezel accents.

Prices for the Moto X Style / Pure Edition will start at $399.99, but be prepared to pay more if you want a leather or wooden back. The new handset should be launched in September, unlocked, and you'll be able to use it on all major US carriers.

Running near stock Android 5.1 Lollipop, the Motorola Moto X Style / Pure Edition is powered by a six-core Snapdragon 808 processor, and features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a 21 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera with flash, 3 GB of RAM, microSD card support, and a 3000 mAh battery. Check out our Moto X Style hands-on for a closer look at the device.
