Blast from the past: Samsung Omnia M for sale in India once again
Remember the Samsung Omnia M? An entry level Windows Phone model, the handset was released last Summer in places like the U.K., Italy, India and Russia. With the success that the low-end Nokia Lumia 520 has been having lately, Indian on-line retailer Flipkart has put the Samsung Omnia M on sale for 9999 INR ($178 USD) in an attempt to duplicate the success of Nokia's entry-level Lumia phone.

You probably don't remember much about the Samsung Omnia M, so to refresh your memory it is equipped with a 4 inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 480 x 800 (WVGA). That works out to a 233ppi pixel density. Under the hood is a single-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 with the Adreno 200 (enhanced) GPU. There is 384MB of RAM on board and 4GB of native storage inside. The 5MP camera on back captures video in 640 x 480 (480p) at 30fps, and there is a .3MP front-facing snapper. A 1500mAh battery powers the phone while Windows Phone 7.5 is installed.

Obviously a low-end model to be sure, the Samsung Omnia M will be delivered in 6 to 8 days from the time your order is placed.
