The Sprint version of the BlackBerry KEYone is receiving an update which will result in the phone receiving the March Android security update. The software version is AAW378, and if you're unsure how to update the software on your KEYone, you can tap on the video at the top of this story. Just make sure that after you receive the notification that the update has arrived, you have the phone connected to a Wi-Fi signal and the battery fully charged before continuing the process of installing it.

There is other news involving the KEYone today. The online BlackBerry Mobile EU store has a couple of coupon codes that reduce the price of the BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition and the BlackBerry KEYone silver. The codes are used when you are checking out of your purchase. In the U.K., use the code SPRING18-UK and the BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition can be yours for £499 (the equivalent to $714 USD). The same code takes the BlackBerry KEYone silver down to £449 ($642 USD).

In the other European countries serviced by the site, use the coupon code SPRING18-EU to take the price of the KEYone Black Edition to €569 ($705 USD) and the KEYone silver to €519 ($642 USD). The site also offers a variety of accessories for the KEYone. You can visit the BlackBerry Mobile EU store by clicking on the sourcelink.

By the way, it looks like a sequel to the KEYone could be announced soon. Earlier this month we passed along renders that reportedly show the BlackBerry KEYone 2, code named Athena.
