Attention, gold diggers! This Nokia Lumia 930 is covered with 24K gold, costs an arm and a leg
Ever since the Nokia Lumia 930 broke surface (an international variation of the Lumia Icon, Microsoft has abstained from launching another high-end Windows Phone device, which means that we should still regard the 930 as Redmond's flagship. What's more, if certain rumors and speculations are to be believed, the device might retain its golden flagship status well until September 2015. Well, we did not mention "golden" for no reason! It looks like a brand new custom edition of the Lumia 930 is making the rounds in Vietnam. What's special about it is that it's basking in a lot of "bling", as it's covered with a solid amount of 24K gold.

Released by a local luxury accessories maker, Karalux, the gold-plated Lumia will hardly be available to just anyone who desires to get it - only 99 units will be produced. Each of them will cost... 18,000,000 Vietnamese Dong. Don't hold your breath, that equals roughly $840.

$850, in original cardboard box too? I figure the phones plating will peel or flake in sweaty palms, look like crap in about five minutes an want to be forgotten. Suiting almost

You do realise its not a ChingChang iUNI diamond 25? It's a Nokia Lumia.

Your comment is made me laugh, but I think AfterShock was referring to the fact that gold isn't a very durable material and not a good fit for a device that will incur heavy daily usage. "ChingChang iUNI diamond" Nice lol

Doesn't matter. This looks classy. Now just imagine a Lumia 925 gold version!

$840? When was the last time you checked the Arm and Leg Market? A Dong joke would've been more apropos.

The designs etched in the gold are horrible. Should've left it polished and unetched.

So this costs the same as the 16gb iPhone 6 here (€700) Not a hard decision at all!

Windows Phone? Meh, but if it ran with Android with Sony's UI on top, or iOS8, I probably would buy this.

Others would not want it if it ran Android or iOS8.
