Another render leak of the Meizu MX5 shows what the flagship may look like
While Meizu took the stage today to announce its Blue Charm Note 2, it still didn't mention anything about a successor for its MX flagship line. Nothing to be alarmed about, as the MX4 was released in September of 2014 and we'd expect another iteration to come in time for an annual refresh.

What we did get, however, are a couple of leaked renders, depicting what the MX5 may end up looking like. These look quite different to the bezel-less device we saw in renders just last month, and much closer to the actual device photos that leaked the day after. So, it appears that the next Meizu flagship may just keep going with the same design language. The front sports the same razor-sharp bezels as the MX4, and the home button looks exactly like the one on the MX4 Pro – we'd assume that it may also house a fingerprint sensor.

As far as specs go, it's expected that the smartphone would be powered by the MediaTek 6795 64-bit SoC, but not much else is known. Some rumors say that the MX5 may be unveiled around the end of June, but we wouldn't hold our breath for an early release.
