After the release of Android Oreo 8 for the Nokia 8, HMD Global is now hard at work on bringing the latest major version of Google's mobile OS to the rest of its smartphone lineup. Today, HMD CPO Juho Sarvikas took to Twitter to announce that the mid-range Nokia 5 is the next phone to enter Android Oreo beta through the company's Nokia Beta Labs program.

As per the information provided above, the Nokia 6 is next in line for the Oreo beta, while the affordable Nokia 3 model will most likely have to wait a while longer. In any case, it's good to see HMD fulfilling its promise of delivering Android 8 Oreo to its entire smartphone lineup.
