Alcatel 3c leaked out in press renders ahead of MWC 2018 unveiling

TCL announced its 2018 smartphone lineup a few days ago at CES (Consumer Electronics Show), but it didn't give any details on the devices. However, we do know at least three phones will be introduced next month at MWC (Mobile World Congress) trade fair: Alcatel 5, Alcatel 3v and Alcatel 1x.

One other smartphone that wasn't mentioned by Alcatel, the 3c leaked out last month as one of the cheapest phones with an 18:9 display. Apparently, the Alcatel 3c will be available in Europe for just €120 outright, a decent price for what the phone has to offer.

Today, a couple of press renders of the unannounced Alcatel 3c leaked online. Surprisingly, the phone has a premium look with a very nice finish. It's not a bezel-less phone, but it's slim and stylish enough that we believe it's going to appeal to many consumers.

Specs-wise, we already know the smartphone will be equipped with a MediaTek MT8321 processor, coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. The 6-inch IPS HD+ display features 1440 x 720 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

Last but not least, the Alcatel 3c will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, but it will run an older version of Android, namely Nougat. TCL rarely offers major Android OS updates to its smartphones, so don't expect the 3c to get any, especially that it's a budget-friendly handset.
