AT&T update for Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, Note 4 and Note Edge brings latest Android security patch

1comment

AT&T is rolling out a new software upgrade for four Samsung smartphones. Owners of the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, Note 4 and Note Edge will be happy to know that their devices will get the latest Android security patch after updating.

For the S7 and S7 Edge, the update weighs in at 41.6 MB and bumps the software version to G930AUCS4BQH1 and G935AUCS4BQH1, respectively. Note 4 owners should get a 28.3MB patch with version N910AUCS2EQH1, while those who possess a Note Edge are to expect a 22.2MB file with version N915AUCS2DQH1.

The update is available OTA, but it might need some time to reach all compatible devices. You can check for it manually by going to Settings > About Device > Software Updates. As always, make sure that your phone is sufficiently charged and connected to a Wi-Fi network before proceeding with the patch.
