Xiaomi Mi MIX and Mi Note 2 get previewed on video ahead of release

Xiaomi surprised the whole world with today's announcement. The Mi Mix is one of those devices that you can't wait to get your hands on, but the Mi Note 2 isn't bad either.

Both smartphones have been introduced earlier today and will go on sale next month for various prices ranging from $413 to $590. However, while Xiaomi confirmed an international version of the Mi Note 2, it didn't say anything about a similar variant of the Mi Mix.

The good news is, you'll most certainly be able to get the Xiaomi Mi Mix next month via Chinese authorized retailers, though you will have to pay for import fees, which will bump up the final price of the phablet.

On paper, the two Xiaomi smartphones may seem “unreal” for the price you pay, but the Chinese company is likely to sell the Mi Note 2 and Mi Mix by the millions even from the first days of their availability.

If you don't mind owning a Chinese smartphone and you're still on the fence on whether to buy the Mi Note 2 or Mi Mix, you'll be happy to know that Xiaomi's VP, Hugo Barra previewed both devices right after their announcement.

Xiaomi's official talked almost a full hour about the company's new Android phones, so you'll probably get all your questions answered by simply watching the video below.

Hugo Barra was live streaming on Facebook his hands-on experience with the Mi Max and Mi Note 2, which shows how confident the company is about its new products. Check out the video below and tell us what you think about Xiaomi's new smartphones.
