That is a actually a nice idea. How didn't Apple/Google think about that earlier...?

Actually Android already have live wallpaper since Gingerbread if I'm not wrong. That's two years ago.

They have "fun" style, scene changing backgrounds. These will be information based Live backgrounds. Not slamming Android- they were first. But it is a new function, not an Android rip off.

Android does have news based Live wallpapers, at least the S3 does. I'm sure you can find more online.

Hard to argue. Sure, WP8.0 will have some upgrades that can't come to your 710, my Focus S or the other WP 7.5 devices. And some improved tools (Nokia drive and Radio for example) will come. But as far as baked in functions of the OS, if it is only one of these huge improvements it will be a black eye. Tech sites and magazines will pound MS mercilessly, and it will be warranted.

should have gone with Android *jus saying* apps are available if your phone doesn't support features natively.

The ESPN updates would be fun. This is the kind of thing developers could really get behind.

I can already set live wallpapers on my lock screen on sg3. But if Windows wants to do the same, I have no complaints as I am a live wallpaper fanatic heheh.
