The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Motorola Moto X Style starts spreading to Europe
About a month ago, Motorola started updating the Motorola Moto X Style to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in Brazil and India. Following what appears to be a successful launch in these initial markets, recent reports reveal that the update is now being rolled out in the UK, which means that a wider rollout across Europe shouldn't be too far off.

In recent times, Motorola has minimized its influence on the user interface, while the general functionality of the OS has been pretty much left unchanged compared to the stock versions of Android. Like all recent Android 6.0 Marshmallow builds from Motorola, this new update for the Moto X Style is a near-stock implementation of the OS.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with a bunch of improvements and tweaks compared to the 5.1 Lollipop version of the OS, which is what the Moto X Style currently runs in most markets. The most notable features include the new battery-saving Doze mode, granular app permissions, a mobile payment platform called Android Pay, and enhanced support for microSD card readers. A more detailed look at the new Android version awaits you in our Android 6.0 Marshmallow review.

As many probably know already, the Moto X Style is the international version of the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition. The US version of the smartphone is currently being updated to 6.0 Marshmallow as well.

What do you guys think? Excited to learn that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is being rolled out to the Moto X Style?
