Sprint reportedly starts rolling out Android 9.0 Pie update for Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ were not among Samsung's first smartphones to receive Android 9.0 Pie updates in the United States, although users in Europe are already enjoying the benefits of Google latest OS.

Samsung debuted the Galaxy S8/S8+ beta program early this year but didn't say when the final version of the Android 9.0 Pie update will be released in the US. While we still don't have any word on when the update might drop, it appears that Sprint may have already started the Android 9.0 Pie roll out.

One Samsung Galaxy S8+ owner posted on Sprint's community forum yesterday saying that it got the update, but didn't install it because the phone's battery was too low, via AndroidSoul. No other Sprint Galaxy S8/S8+ seem to confirm the information, so your guess is as good as ours.

If you've bought either of the two Samsung flagships from Sprint, it wouldn't hurt checking for the update. Also, let's us know in the comments if it does show up on your Sprint Galaxy S8/S8+.
