Earlier this month, we told you that the Tizen powered Samsung Z2 appeared in Africa during the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Today, an official product video showing off features of the phone has surfaced. The video tells us about the phone's "stylish design," and its "smart, fast performance." The plastic-clad handset (with the sizeable bezels) features an interchangeable back cover and supports 4G LTE connectivity.

Ultra data saving mode will allow you to stretch your data allowance to the utmost, and the My Money Transfer app lets you send money to others' accounts. The device is believed to carry a 4-inch AMOLED screen and is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz CPU. Inside, you should find 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage. The video shows off a 5MP rear-facing camera, and our guess is that a .3MP VGA snapper is on front to handle selfies and video chats. A 1500mAh battery will keep that gerbil wheel spinning, and Tizen 2.4 is pre-installed. The video says that the phone is pre-loaded with "essential" apps like WhatsApp and Facebook.

Most likely, the Samsung Z2 will be confined to launches in South Africa and India. With the product video already posted online, we are probably not that far away from the official unveiling of  the phone.
