Liveblog: Sony CES 2013 press conference

This year's CES has turned out to be more of a TV- and appliance-centric event, but there's still hope that Sony will make us happy with a big announcement of a new flagship smartphone. We're of course talking about the Xperia Z monsterphone that is expected to sport a magnificent 5" 1080p BRAVIA screen, Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, 13MP Exmor RS camera and a beautiful glass design, powered by Asahi Dragontrail.
We know it all sounds so beautiful, guys, but please note that this phone is still unofficial, and it may all turn out to be just one big lie! Not the phone, of course, but its appearance here at CES. Still, there's this feeling which tells us that the Xperia Z is here. We can sense its presence. Fingers crossed that we aren't wrong!
