Remember the HTC U Ultra, the dual-screen 5.7-incher that was "inspired by you and made for you"? Announced two months ago, it's already shipping to the adventurous folks that had pre-ordered it for $749. Guess what, we're also part of that crowd, as a neat white box with rounded corners got delivered to our doorstep overnight.

At first sight, you seem to get a lot of phone for the money - although it didn't quite garner the usual amount of hype and attention, the U Ultra is a flagship-grade phone. With its 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 821 chipset, the HTC Sense companion assistant, and finally, a secondary ticker display at the front of the phone. HTC has definitely drawn inspiration from LG's V10 and V20 devices for that feature, but who are we to judge...

Inside the box, you will find:

  • HTC U Ultra
  • Protective case
  • Cleaning cloth
  • USB Type-C in-ear headphones
  • Quick-charging power adapter
  • USB Type-C cable
  • SIM ejector tool
  • Manuals and leaflets

Anyway, let's see what's inside the HTC U Ultra box and also have a first look at the device itself.
