LG Optimus 3D appears in a commercial
First it was leaked, then LG confirmed it, but all this time we didn't see any official images of the LG Optimus 3D. Now, the world's first “dual core-multi channel” device as LG calls it, finally shows up in an ad in its full glory. You heard it right, the ad confirms the dual-core brains of the Optimus 3D. We can't see the performance of the Optimus 3D just yet, but the ad gives us a good look at its sleek body and shapes.
Even though the commercial doesn't explicitly say it is the Optimus 3D, the handset matches perfectly the previously leaked images. Add in the slogan “No longer just an idea” and all clues lead to 3D. Now it's a mere week before Sprint announces their “industry first” and the Optimus 3D with dual-core on board sounds like just the right thing after the carrier was the only one left without an upcoming dual-core smartphone in its lineup. Check out the ad for yourself and let us know your thoughts about 3D on phones!

Not saying it's not, but if this were sprints announcement why would they let lg tease ot first?
Personally I think I'd enjoy 3d on a Phone as long as it's an adjustable parallax barrier display. Never glasses and needs to be tuned to the users comfort.

Nothing wrong with all the marketing !!! The fact is there is a difference in surfing the web between 3G and 4G... no matter how big it is.

lol, except that $79.99 includes the $10 premium data charge because the Unlimited plan is $69.99..

There isn't a $10 4g charge. There's a $10 premium data charge for smartphones regardless of 4g or not. If you have a 4g phone you wouldn't be paying $20 extra only $10 (69.99 plus 10 for premium data) Go ahead and compare 79.99 for unlimited calling to ANY mobile phone UNLIMITED data and unlimited texting to other carriers plans you may find simular setups but you won't get quite as much features

except for the fact that sprints true mobile to mobile still takes from the mere 450 minutes they give you if you are roaming. which for sprints horrible coverage is a majority of the time.
