Huawei P10 vs Apple iPhone 7 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: specs comparison

Huawei P10 vs Apple iPhone 7 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: specs comparison

The brand new Huawei P10 is out of the bag, and it's a meticulously designed phone with a brand new diamond-cut finish. But how does the Huawei P10 stand up against the big rivals like the Apple iPhone 7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 in a good old specs battle?

The Huawei P10 features Huawei's in-house Kirin 960 system chip, the latest generation of the company's silicon that has four powerful Cortex A57 processor cores that take care of more intense applications, and four power-efficient A53 processor cores used for daily tasks.

Unlike the iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7, the P10 also features 64GB of storage even in its base model. This is twice the storage allotment on Galaxies and iPhones, and in addition to that, the Huawei P10 also supports expandable storage via a microSD card slot.

For this and all the other specs differences, feel free to check out our detailed Huawei P10 vs Apple iPhone 7 vs Samsung Galaxy S7 specs comparison.

Pixel density

Pixel density - The pixel density of a display represents the number of pixels over an area of one inch. It’s measured in “pixels per inch”, or ppi. The higher the number, the more detailed and good-looking the display is.

Technology

Technology - There are two main screen technologies currently used in phones and tablets: LCD and AMOLED. The former usually features a light source and liquid crystals, while the latter is based on organic light-emitting diodes. Newer LCD variations like IPS-LCD and Super-LCD allow for very accurate color reproduction and very wide viewing angles, where no significant image quality loss is observed. Current AMOLED screens differ in such a way that they can exhibit much more saturated colors (sometimes too much) and incredibly high contrast levels, which is due to black color being completely black in AMOLED displays.

The former cheapo brand shows the two most established brands how it's done!
