Chinese manufacturer Huawei has some has some exciting phones coming to CES 2013 such as the Huawei Ascend Mate with its massive 6.1 inch display, and the Huawei Ascend D2 with a 5 inch 1080p display. Both will be driven by quad-core Qualcomm processors. It is unknown if either of those two models will make it to the U.S.

What has made it to the States is the Huawei Ascend P1. Now available from Amazon for $449.99 with free shipping, the unlocked device features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with qHD resolution which offers up a serviceable 254ppi pixel density. Driving Miss Daisy is a dual-core 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 processor with 1GB of RAM on board, and 4GB of native storage. The 32GB capacity microSD slot can expand the memory. Yes, the Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound System offers theater quality sound while the rear facing 8MP camera captures video in 1080p. There is also a 1.3MP front facing shooter that takes self portraits and supports video chat. The 1670mAh battery keep the lights on and the whole shebang is just 7.68mm thick.

If the specs seem a little early 2012 to you, you'd be right. The Huawei Ascend P1 originally launched last April in China and hit Europe in June.
