HTC unsure on tablets, expected to record best ever quarter in both revenues and phone sales
Jack Tong, vice-president of HTC Asia, says that for now HTC is content with merely evaluating the tablet market and hasn't yet decided whether to release a tablet or not. That's contrary to reports that we will see an HTC-branded tablet in Q1 of 2011. Jack Tong goes on to say that until phones running Windows Phone 7 have more language editions, such as Chinese, Microsoft shouldn't expect massive sales of phones powered by its mobile OS in the Asia Pacific region.

The vice-president of HTC Asia also notes that shipments of its flagship models are set to be increased by December, which means no more shortages of HTC handsets when Christmas is here. The Taiwan manufacturer is also on its way to record its best ever quarter, as it is expected to ship 9 million handsets in Q4 of 2010 and make a revenue of over $3.29 billion.
