Gionee S9 with dual-camera setup to become official on November 15th?

A teaser posted by Gionee reveals that the Gionee S9 and Gionee S9T are going to be unveiled on November 15th. In addition. live images of the S9 have also surfaced. Checking out the specs of the S9, the device will come with a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. A MediaTek Helio P10 SoC is under the hood carrying an octa-core 1.8GHz CPU and the Mali-T860 GPU.

4GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of native storage. A 128GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional storage. The rear cameras weigh in at 13MP and 5MP, while a 13MP selfie snapper can be found in front. Android 6.0 is pre-installed.

Another version of the phone, the Gionee S9T, carries the same specs as the S9 except for one major difference. The chipset carries an octa-core 2GHz CPU, giving it a slightly faster clock speed than the processor employed by the Gionee S9.

Final specs, pricing and availability should be part of the information that Gionee makes official on November 15th.
