Exclusive: Verizon to offer HTC One in blue
We have been waiting impatiently for the HTC One to finally make its way to being on sale with Big Red since we broke the news to you about Verizon’s inventory systems being updated the day before the official announcement.

Thanks to our source, we have learned that Verizon’s inventory systems have been updated with an additional SKU (stock keeping unit) code, HTC6500LVWBLU along with the description “HTC One in Blue.”

That leaves little room for interpretation, Verizon will be launching a blue color option for this device since it apparently missed the opportunity to score a red model which is coming to Sprint. Our source is not sure of the actual shade of blue, but hypothesized that it could be along the same vein as what we saw offered with the Windows Phone 8X by HTC.

Regarding the actual launch of the HTC One on Verizon, our source has confirmed that a launch in August is “definite,” but cannot confirm the newly reported August 15th date we have seen through other sources.  No date has been noted for the HTC One in blue.

Pricing is apparently another item that is not set in stone yet either. Given the amount of time that has passed since the HTC One has launched with other carriers, and the strong showing of the Samsung Galaxy S4, and the upcoming wave of new Motorola devices, Verizon and HTC will have to think their pricing scheme creatively to make the One shine amongst the landscape of choices soon-to-be available.

Thanks for the tip!

Not that impressive. Red looks sharp but for me, I'll take mine in black!

Exclusivity is holding HTC back.
Make this stuff available across the board.

Why not release all 4 colors on day of fkn launch... I would have loved the red version... Ahh, HTC... Always reminding me to wait 4-5 months after they release a flagship for the 'better' version of it...

Well i was going to get mine in black.. why on earth would we get blue and sprint of all services gets red? That makes zero sense to me. Red > Blue and i even like blue more as a color all together

I have a feeling Verizon will make it 200... The DNA was free at best buy and 50$ on amazon.. Verizon still had it at 200$. So that fantasy seems real grim to me
