LG’s flagship for the first half of 2019 is the G8. With its notched 6.1-inch QHD OLED display, it’s a fairly compact phone that packs a more than adequate punch. It sets itself apart with its HandID feature which lets you unlock the device with your unique palm print. You can also control the phone with gestures by interacting with the ToF sensor in the notch. There’s also a traditional fingerprint scanner at the back, but no traditional earpiece - instead, the phone’s display vibrates to produce sound. The LG G8 has IP68 water resistance and a 3,500mAh battery on deck, as well as a Snapdragon 855 chipset and 6GB of RAM. MicroSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack are available as well. There’s a 12MP main and a 16MP ultra-wide camera at the rear, while the selfie one is an 8MP one.
