What's better than a gaming laptop? Why, two gaming laptops! Dad jokes aside, there's no reason to buy both the Win H9 and the Win H7 – Honor's new gaming laptops. You can choose only one and call it a day.

The two new models target different segments of the market, so you have to choose wisely. One is a maxed-out machine for high-end enthusiasts, the other speaks to more price-conscious gamers.

But both laptops come with upgraded internals, great displays and improved cooling.

Enter the Win H9

At the top of the line is the Honor Win H9 (2026), which is the flagship model. It's built around a 16-inch IPS LCD display with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio.

The panel supports a 300Hz refresh rate (insane numbers, but if you're into competitive gaming, you'll appreciate it). The display is bright and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, making it suitable for both gaming and content creation.

Honor has also added TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light and flicker-free technology to reduce discomfort during extended sessions.

What about performance?

The Win H9 can be configured with up to Intel's Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor, featuring 24 cores, 24 threads, and boost speeds of up to 5.5GHz. Needless to say, if you play CS 1.6 (a relic of the past), you don't need such a beast.

There's the option for a slightly more modest Core Ultra 7 251HX variant.

On the graphics side, the system goes up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB of GDDR7 memory and 140W power, with additional options including the RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 for lower tiers.

Memory and storage are equally robust, with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM clocked at 6400MT/s and a 1TB PCIe SSD. Users also get dual M.2 slots, allowing for future storage expansion. To keep everything running under control, Honor introduces its Dongfeng cooling engine, capable of handling up to 270W of combined thermal output through a multi-fan setup and optimized airflow design.

The Win H9 also includes a 92Wh battery rated for up to nine hours of office use, along with fast charging that can reach 60% in about 30 minutes.

Pricing for the Win H9 starts at 11,999 yuan (around $1,800) for the Core Ultra 7 and RTX 5060 configuration.

Next up, the Win H7

Positioned below it is the Honor Win H7, which brings much of the same to a slightly lower and more accessible price tag.

It runs on Intel's Core i7-14650HX processor, offering 16 cores and 24 threads with boost speeds up to 5.2GHz, paired with either RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 graphics. These GPUs support features like ray tracing, DLSS 4, and AI-assisted performance for modern titles. You're good to go.

The Win H7 also benefits from Gaming Turbo X technology, which includes performance modes such as Rampage Mode, delivering up to 205W of combined CPU and GPU power. Cooling is handled by a triple-fan inward-blowing system.

No 300Hz refresh rate

Its display is another 16-inch IPS panel with the same 2560 x 1600 resolution and 16:10 ratio, but with a lower 180Hz refresh rate. It covers 100% of the sRGB color space and again with certifications for eye comfort.

Power is supplied by an 80Wh battery, supported by a 260W fast charger that can reach 70% in around 30 minutes, along with support for 100W USB-C charging.

The Win H7 starts at 9,199 yuan (around $1,348) for the RTX 5060 model.
