Kicked off in the early hours of October 6 alongside the latest massive Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra discounts, the Galaxy S26's hot new $275 price cut is only available for one storage variant and one color option at the time of this writing. Specifically, the entry-level 256GB configuration in white, which means that Amazon ran out of black, cobalt violet, and sky blue inventory in (way) less than 24 hours.
While it's obviously possible that said stock will be replenished by the end of the Prime Big Deal Days 2026 sale, it's equally as likely (if not more so) that the white hue proves far too compelling for Amazon to handle your demand. After all, this is one of the best phones... with a compact screen in the world, and despite a recent price hike from $899.99 to $999.99, the $275 discount makes the value equation pretty hard to beat.
The 6.3-inch Galaxy S26 is currently a little cheaper than Google's "vanilla" Pixel 11 (which just so happens to sport a 6.3-inch display as well), and if you're not quick or lucky enough to take advantage of the huge $275 markdown on a 256GB variant, you will need to settle for spending $200 less than the usual $1,199.99 to jump to 512 gigs of internal storage space, which is also a pretty decent but clearly inferior deal.

It pretty much goes without saying that the smallest member of Samsung's newest (non-foldable) ultra-high-end handset family lacks a few of the "Ultra" features and capabilities of its biggest brother, nonetheless shining in the screen quality department with Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X technology and 120Hz refresh rate support, as well as on the raw performance front thanks to a state-of-the-art Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and in terms of build quality and style with a super-premium combination of metal and glass and a razor-thin 7.2mm profile.
