The Motorola Razr (2025) is simply irresistible at its lower-than-ever Prime Day price
Forget the advanced age and unremarkable specifications of the Razr (2025) compared to its Ultra brother, as this is the best affordable foldable to buy today.

While this is obviously a humbler Android-powered flip phone compared to its state-of-the-art Ultra brother from last year, the inferior specifications naturally come with a major affordability advantage as well. Specifically, the non-Ultra Razr (2025) is normally priced at $699.99, and if you hurry, you can spend 200 bucks less than that for an unlocked variant in your choice of Pantone Parfait Pink, Pantone Lightest Sky, and Pantone Spring Bud colorways.
Those are all very attractive paint jobs that add to the cosmetic appeal of a razor-thin clamshell-type foldable that tips the scales at under 180 grams and promises to impress you with its long-term durability as well thanks to a stainless steel hinge and aluminum frame.
Of course, the new (Prime member-exclusive) $200 discount can't compare to the aforementioned $600 price cut of the ultra-high-end Razr Ultra (2025), but if you're on a tight budget this holiday shopping season (aren't we all?), I'm sure you'll at least consider the lower-cost device.
In case you're wondering, the Razr (2025) October Prime Day deal eclipses the handset's special offer from Amazon's first big sales event of 2026 back in June, and perhaps more importantly, this improved promo makes the Razr (2026) feel even less appealing at its $799.99 list price.

Naturally, the 2026 edition is better than its predecessor, but not $300 better, packing a slightly newer and faster processor, slightly bigger battery, and a superior secondary rear-facing camera.
For its freshly reduced (and record low) price, the Motorola Razr (2025) undeniably comes with a fast enough MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, big enough 4,500mAh cell, good enough 50 + 13MP dual rear snapper system, and especially, large and smooth enough 6.9 and 3.6-inch screens supporting 120Hz and 90Hz refresh rate technology, respectively.
