If you're looking for the best budget 5G phone available in 2026, the Motorola Edge (2025) technically doesn't qualify for a fairly obvious reason. But with the Motorola Edge (2026) still stuck at its arguably excessive $599.99 launch price (several months after its US commercial debut), many of the brand's cash-strapped fans may want to consider last year's 6.7-inch mid-ranger again.

This is the only member of the Motorola Edge family that was released stateside in 2025, mind you, and it's actually very different from the 6.3-inch Edge (2026). Of course, the extra screen real estate is offset by a number of disadvantages that come inherent with the handset's more advanced age, but those are in turn cancelled out right now by an unprecedented Amazon deal.

The Pixel 10a is a great Motorola Edge (2025) alternative at a slightly higher price with significantly better long-term software support.

For a presumably limited time, the Motorola Edge (2025) is more affordable than ever before, even undercutting something like Samsung's Galaxy A37 5G. The phone's "typical price" is not correctly listed (because Amazon is weird like that sometimes), but you only need to take a quick look on Motorola's official US website to find out that the budget-friendly 6.7-incher normally costs $549.99.

As such, you currently stand to save 200 bucks on Amazon with no special requirements and no strings attached, which is a solid improvement over the e-commerce giant's discounts of up to $165 of the last few months. Should you expect even better deals in the near future? With an undoubtedly epic second Prime Day sale of the year right around the corner and then Black Friday and Cyber Monday events not far behind, anything is clearly possible.

But it's also possible that the device will be discontinued soon, forcing you to overpay for a smaller Motorola Edge (2026) or settle for something like the Moto G Stylus (2025).
