iPhone 6 Plus explodes during charging with the original charger

The iPhone 6 Plus was connected to the power adapter that came bundled with it. At around 3AM, Estrada was awakened by a loud noise and the smell of burnt plastic. The iPhone emitted thick, black smoke.
Reportedly, Estrada bought her iPhone three months ago. She proceeded to call Apple on the next day and provided photos of the burnt smartphone. She's bound to receive a replacement unit from the local Apple store as well. While Estrada wasn't harmed by the incident, the exploding iPhone damaged her bedside table, a pair of glasses, and an Apple Watch stand.
Earlier this week, an iPhone 6 Plus burned in the back pocket of college student Darina Hlavaty. The cause of fire in both incidents is not yet known, although it might be a case of defective batteries or a short circuit. Apple hasn't addressed the events yet, but is currently investigating both devices.

Batteries oher time fail and swell. Person never noticed the case coming apart from and expanding battery. Plugged it in and it will exploded like all batteries.
I have two iPhone 5(wife and I), no longer used as phones. My 32GB last summer suddenly started to seperate. About a week later I could clearly see the battery was the issue. Went to Apple and got it replaced. They explained batteries as they age can do that (I already knew that).
The key for anyone is not to charge it and replace a battery bulging or no matter what it's connected to its going to catch fire.
On a side note my Wife's old iPhone 5 is not starting to swell.

It has been failing since 2007. Only dump people has been keeping Apple floating. Or else history to Apple. Past 25 years Apple has been failing. Suddenly they hire payed idiots to hype it's products. And know they are known and own by rich and middle classes.
