iPhone 5 pre-orders are now live
We have to give Apple credit for making sure its newly-announced gadgets reach the market in the shortest time possible. And their latest smartphone is no exception to that – just as promised, the iPhone 5 is now available for pre-order from the Apple Store online. Pricing is set at $199 for the 16GB model, with the 32GB and 64GB variants priced at $299 and $399 respectively. Of course, your signature under a 2-year contract is required in order to get the iPhone 5 with a carrier subsidy. Note that only two smartphones are allowed per customer. It is estimated that your order will ship in about 2 weeks if pre-ordered right now.

Wondering whether you are eligible for an upgrade? Turns out that's quite easy to check online. All you need to do is to visit Apple's web page (link below) and enter your details. Apple also provides a tool for comparing AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint iPhone 5 plans, so in case you want to check whether you are getting the most bang for your buck, check it out at the link below.
