Thanks to Amazon's ongoing promo, the 42mm variant is down to about $350 from its original MSRP of $450. You can choose from two color variants that best suit your style.
The Forerunner 265S offers multiple sports tracking features that should meet most runners' needs. For instance, it gives you wrist-based running power performance insights, giving you a better idea of how much power you're putting into each run. You also get wrist-based running dynamics, offering a breakdown of key running metrics.
A standout here is the support for triathlon and multisport training. There aren't many Garmin watches under $500 that can accurately track such activities, making this bad boy a true value-packed option.
According to Garmin's estimates, you can expect up to 15 days of use on a single charge. That should be more than enough to get you through a week of hardcore training without having to constantly look for the charger.
All things considered, the Garmin Forerunner 265S is one of my favorite models from the Forerunner series. It's feature-packed and much more affordable than some alternatives like the Forerunner 970. Plus, now that it's $100 off at Amazon, it's an even better bargain for users on a budget.
