Zagg outs pricey screen protectors for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge
Not only did Samsung have production problems last year with the S6 edge display, at least initially, but accessory makers also took their sweet time to release a nice and tough screen protector for the intricate doubly bent display. This year, however, everyone is better prepared, it seems, and Zagg, the maker of all things case-y and accessory, said they will have a few screen protector models for both the S7 and S7 edge when they hit your doorsteps.

Zagg's basic InvisibleShield guard for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge are $15, while the HD version, which is apparently "ultra clear and ultra durable," is $25. The long-awaited Glass Contour option, however, which protects the screens on both devices with tempered reinforced glass layer, is $40, and will be available at a later date, though we are sure many alternatives will start popping up very soon, given the popular feedback that the S7 and S7 edge already received.

Cheap glasses are just as good and barely cost $2

I have a 7$ one(well, 2 of them) on my S6 and they work really well, have oleophobic coating and 9H surface hardness. 25$ for plastic screen protector is a pure rip-off.

They are expensive but for an edge model and Zagg has a lifetime replacement. ...I'll spend the money......I'd like to see if spigen comes out with a glass one though

The thing that phone arena FORGOT to mention is that they come with a lifetime warranty on all their products. Yes you might find one's cheaper but the convenience of getting a free replacement is worth it.

life time warranty for something people only keep for 1 year maybe 2 and very few 3 year at the most I never had a issue with a screen protector ever coming off as long as it was put on right in the first place

Dude. A free replacement isn't really a benefit. Example. Let's just say I keep my phone 2 years, which I dont. But I put on a screen protector and so it right and it never peels. But let's say after a year it peels and I need a new one. I only paid $8.00-12.00 in the first place. So if I spend another 8/12.00, what amount of money did I lose? Their warranty is if the phone breaks while wearing a Zagg they will replace the device as well. I use Skinomi. They also offer 100% replacement. They don't cost an arm and leg. I have one on my Surface Pro 4 and our Note 5's have them too, including a carbon fiber skin on the back. It's a perfect fit everytime. Just check-out skinomi.com. well have the silver carbon skin which looks awesome with the silver/titanium Note 5. They also have a gold carbon which looks awesome on the gold Samsung devices and of course black goes with anything. I chose silver to go with out black Note, to give a contrast color. It's looks awesome

"Their warranty is if the phone breaks while wearing a Zagg they will replace the device as well." -WRONG- Zagg will not replace your device TechieXP1969, the lifetime warranty is for the lifetime of your device but it only covers their product replacement not your device too.

ZAGG is well worth the money, the warranty is great. It not only is covered if it starts coming off it is covered if you drop your phone and it cracks or get scratched.

I use to love Zagg and I didn't mind paying the cost for the glass covers. But other brands offer equal or better quality for less. Skinomi and Tech Armor offer comparable options at better price.

The only issue i have is on a edge display....i don't the company's you mentioned but for an edge model i wouldn't want a cheap one

PA says they are pricey. Yep and this has been the price since the smartphone craze started. I remember buying one for my iPhone 4. And right after I put it on I dropped my phone and the back glass shattered. I was so pissed. I replaced the back cover and sent them he receipt and they refunded me the cost with tax and shipping. Zagg is nice, but there are alternatives like Tech Armor and Skinomi. They offer replacement of the skins, not your phone. Zagg will replace your device. It's only once I ever cracked a glass that had a protector on it.

This is the last piece of the puzzle.. I have my Spigen Tough Armor case and my Samsung 128GB micro SD, all i need is a invisible shield HD and to wait until my S7 ships with my free year of Netflix and my free Gear VR.

They are pricey but ZAGG always has specials, like 50% off promos or BOGO. It not just covers peeling off, ehich has never haven't but also covers when the ZAGG cracks. My wife has cracked her ZAGG on her S6 twice (don't ask me how) and each time I have gotten a free replacement under warranty. Plus, as jeytaylor above stated, we give our phones to our children so they will be covered under our warranty. Our phones stay within ur family for at least 4 years.

Tech armor offer same warranty to replace the screen protector if its peel or break. Cost like 25% of the price lol.

well i guess the best thing if it ever exists is Zaggs product quality. i always used them and they were fairly good and the replacement was swift and without hassle. but if you guys get tmobiles jump on demand which you basically lease the phone then you don't need an expensive screen protector...
