Windows Mobile 6.5 update for the Samsung OMNIA I900?
The eagerly anticipated release date of Windows Mobile 6.5, namely 6 October, is closing in on us and the number of manufacturers that have announced Windows phones is rapidly growing. However, why would anyone want to upgrade or replace their smartphone, if their surrent device is working properly plus, they can just update the software and get all the bonus features of the new Windows version in a snap?

Well, it seems owners of one of the best Windows phones for 2008, the Samsung OMNIA I900, are in for a nice surprise with the official Windows Mobile 6.5 update by the manufacturer looking more realistic by the day. The information about it comes from a Dutch customer, who claims to have received an offficial email confirmation by Samsung, although the company didn´t indicate a specific release date. We do hope the update for the Samsung OMNIA I900 will be made available to customers outside of the Netherlands as well.
