Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update is now available
Microsoft began seeding the long-awaited Windows 10 Anniversary Update for PCs on August 2, reassuring that mobile users would be treated to the same in the following weeks. Making good on its promise, the company yesterday began the incremental roll-out of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update for mobile devices. The update will eventually hit all unlocked devices running Windows 10 Mobile, but its availability may initially vary depending on carrier and region.

The Windows 10 Anniversary Update for mobile doesn't pack as big of a punch as its desktop counterpart, but still introduces а series of refinements that mobile users will definitely enjoy. Among the changes are a revamped and more customizable Quick Settings menu, notification syncing between desktop and mobile, a universal Skype app and more. Have a look at the complete Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update changelog for more granular information on what will change.

If you haven't received a notification for the update, you can perform a manual check for it by going to Settings > Update & security > Phone update > Check for updates. If the update is available for you, it will be downloaded and installed in a convenient time (you can manually set when).
