  • Nokia plans to shut down one of its largest stores in London. We guess the lingering recovery of the UK economy is behind the extreme measure, plus it´s not a secret the manufacturer has been losing market share for quite some time now and is trying to optimize its costs. As you know, the company has already showed the door to quite a few people this year. (source: Engadget)


  • Smart Alarm is a surprisingly interesting application for the iPhone. The program is actually able to wake you up earlier if the weather conditions have deteriorated since the time you´ve set it, say, if it starts raining or snowing while you´re asleep, meaning you might be late for school or work unless you wake up earlier.   • Gameloft has released Driver for the iPhone. The game will set you back with $6.99, but this is money well spent, since you get really good graphics and interesting single player campaign. (source: App Advice)


  • Nokia plans to release a golden version of the 6700 classic at the beginning of 2010. The phone will be covered in 18-carat gold and you will have to fork out about $545 before taxes and subsidies to get one. (source: Nokia Conversations)
