WP7 powered HTC Eternity and Omega are believed to be unveiled at HTC's event
Well that certainly didn’t take too long! Earlier today, we reported about possibly seeing Windows Phone 7 devices taking center stage at HTC’s upcoming event in London, but now we’re hearing our first word about the names of those actual devices.

One of BGR’s sources has indicated that the company plans to unveil several new Windows Phone 7 Mango smartphones at their event on September 1st. Interestingly enough, we’re greeted with the names of two specific Mango inspired devices that are headed to the US market – the HTC Eternity and Omega.

Although information regarding the two is skimp at this point, it’s being reported that the HTC Eternity will be an AT&T bound handset featuring a 3.7” display of some sort. Conversely, the HTC Omega is looking to tie the knot with T-Mobile USA, and more importantly, it’ll be sporting a larger than average 4.5” display.

As for actual release dates, one can only presume it’ll be here some time in the fall, but the same source indicates that they’ll come sooner than expected.
