Vodafone Australia testing Windows 10 Mobile on various WP 8.1 phones
Sure, you can experience Windows 10 Mobile right now on a Microsoft Lumia 950, or Microsoft Lumia 950 XL handset. If you're waiting for your Windows Phone 8.1 powered device to be updated, you could see it receive Windows 10 Mobile in as soon as two weeks. Microsoft previously said that it would be pushing out the update before Christmas.

Along with the testing taking place on unlocked models, some carriers have started the process of testing Windows 10 Mobile on various Lumia handsets. Take Vodafone Australia for example. The carrier has revised its update schedule, saying that Windows 10 Mobile is currently being tested for the Nokia Lumia 930, Nokia Lumia 730, Microsoft Lumia 640, Microsoft Lumia 640 XL and the Nokia Lumia 630.

Of course, if you are a Windows Insider, you probably are already using the Windows 10 Mobile preview on your phone. Yesterday, a "cumulative update" to the final Windows 10 Mobile build was rolled out by Microsoft. Build number 10586.29 adds bug fixes and security updates to the version of  Windows 10 Mobile that will be sent out to Windows Phone 8.1 powered units.

The latest data shows that Windows 10 Mobile is already on 7% of Windows Phone flavored handsets.

behind? yes.. somewhat and not to 4get Droids are also somewhat behind.. Continuum giving PC like xperience, W10m has got best battery backup among all OSes... And FTW, I have installed 400+ apps n games (excluding the pre-installed.. yes) BUT Droids with so called 4GB RAM fail to do so.. Even if they install only 50-100 apps n games... starts hanging like anything... LOL
