The
Asus ZenPad Z10 tablet made its debut at Verizon late last year, probably to some success since the carrier was very interested in offering customers who bought it the possibility to update it to a newer version of Android.
Long story short, Verizon is now rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat for Asus ZenPad Z10. The update is pushed OTA (over the air) in stages and can be captured either via Wi-Fi connection or Verizon's mobile network.
Aside from the usual new features and improvements included in Android 7.0 Nougat such as multi-window mode, improved settings navigation, enhanced doze mode, the update also adds the
August security patch.
If you own the Asus ZenPad Z10 and purchased it from Verizon, then you should ensure your tablet's battery is fully charged before starting the software update.
Although Asus didn't say anything about a possible Android 7.0 Nougat update for the
ZenPad Z10, it's hard to believe the tablet will be further updated to Android 8.0 Oreo.
