VK Mobile going down

Although there has been no official press release by VK Mobile, a lot of Korean sites claim it is filing for bankruptcy. The company's main creditor, Industrial Bank of Korea, has declared it insolvent after failing to repay US$1.9 billion back to creditors.

VK Mobile is a Korean phone manufacturer which has lately manufactured a lot of models which we have already reported. Most of VK's phones were unique due to their design resembling the Motorola RAZR and because of the candybar form handsets measuring 0.3 inches in thickness. VK Mobile are also the manufacturer of one the phones from the Helio line. Helio is MVNO using Verizon's network.
