UK Galaxy S 4 to also use the quad-core Snapdragon 600 chipset, says Samsung
Not that it should come as a surprise after seeing the benchmarks before launch, and considering EE has a 4G LTE network, but the Galaxy S 4 in the UK will sport a Snapdragon 600 chipset, just as in the US.

The updated press release about the UK launch from Samsung itself now states: “Samsung Galaxy S 4 is equipped with a 1.9GHz Quad-core AP or a 1.6GHz Octa-core AP. The selection of AP varies by markets. In the UK the Galaxy S 4 will be available as a 4G device with a 1.9GHz Quad Core Processor".

The "1.9 GHz quad-core AP" is none other than Snapdragon 600, as confirmed by Qualcomm itself, so both the US and UK will be getting the standard fare, which would likely mean faster 3rd party dev support compared to the yet-uncharted Exynos 5 Octa processor of Samsung.
