Two new apps for Android users bring Hotmail and The Washington Post to the green robot
Two new apps became available today for those using Android phones. The first is a long awaited Hotmail app that brings you push email so that you can get your email instantly, a synced calendar and contacts list and support for folders and sub-folders. You can also send, receive and view attachments, send photographs from your phone using Hotmail, and open more than one Hotmail account. The app is a free download from the Android Market for those running Android 2.1 or higher.

Also now available in the Android Market is an app for The Washington Post. It's been a long time since the days of "Deep Throat", but The Post still delivers international and world news in a manner that you would expect from one of the country's most influential dailies. As with the Hotmail app, The Washington Post is available for those Android phones running 2.1 or higher.
