Tweet shows LG Venice for Boost Mobile; ZTE Warp Sequent launches
The latest leak from evleaks shows off the LG Venice which is allegedly heading to Boost Mobile. The LG Venice is just another variant of the LG Optimus L7 which is a mid-range model for the pre-paid carrier. Assuming that the specs remain the same, we're looking at a  4.3 inch WVGA display which works out to a 217ppi pixel density. You couldn't be blamed for thinking that you somehow got knocked back in time with the single-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A with the Adreno 200 GPU crunching graphics. 512MB of RAM is on board and there is 2.4GB of native memory. The 5MP camera on back captures video at 480p in 30fps while the .3MP front-facing shooter takes self-portraits and enables video chat. A 1700mAh battery  keeps the fridge cold and Android 4.0 is installed. Pricing and availability is unknown.

A little less than two weeks ago, we told you about a less ambitious model of the ZTE Grand X IN coming to Boost, called the ZTE Warp Sequent. A single-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8655 is under the hood, bringing back memories of yesteryear. The Adreno 205 does the heavy graphics lifting. 768MB of RAM takes us down memory road and the back and front facing shooters weigh in at 5MP and 1.3MP respectively. The 1650mAh battery powers the phone which has Android 4.0 installed. The unit is priced at $199.99 off contract.

The ZTE Warp Sequent works with the carrier's $55 Android Monthly Unlimited plan which includes unlimited talk, text and email and includes 2.5GB of 3G data a month. Once you go over that cap, your data speed is throttled. Every 6 on time payments brings down the monthly rate by $5 until you hit $40 a month which is the lowest that the rate will go.
