Travelers, Google will now track airline pricing and find you flight and hotel deals
Whether you travel often, or just every now and then, Google has announced some new features for its suite of travel related websites and apps that can help you save money. Using machine learning and statistical analysis, Google Flights will tell you whether flights from your location to a target destination are available at lower than normal prices. The information will also tell you how much cheaper these new prices are.

When you're looking for lodging, Google Search results will include a notification if a holiday, conference or trade show is making it harder to find an unbooked room. And if you want to wait until hotel prices drop before booking your vacation, Google plans on unveiling a new feature on desktops next year called Hotel Price Tracking. Opt-in to this new feature once it becomes available, and you'll receive email price alerts on lodging.

If you're searching for deals, the Google Trips app has a new Discounts feature that allows you to instantly access deals for plane tickets, tours and lodging. Google's travel suite will allow you to have a great vacation without sucking all of the money out of your bank account.

With Martin Luther King Jr. weekend coming up (January 12th through the 15th), Google revealed the top five destinations both domestically and overseas. The data comes from the number of searches on Google. Since it is winter in the states, it comes as no surprise that the top destination for the holiday weekend is in Florida. Family friendly Orlando takes the top spot. Overseas, Mexico's Cancun is the most searched for vacation spot during the holiday weekend.

The Google Flights website can be accessed by clicking on this link. The Google Trips app can be installed by clicking on the appropriate link (Android|iOS).
