The Galaxy Note 10's Android 10 & One UI 2 beta may have been delayed

Earlier this month, Samsung was forced to delay the Galaxy S10’s Android 10 beta rollout by a couple of days due to unforeseen issues. Now, it appears the South Korean giant has pushed back the release of its Galaxy Note 10 beta as well.

The beta software was initially expected to roll out today in a handful of markets but Samsung Germany customer care representatives speaking with SamMobile have revealed that the Android 10 and One UI 2 beta for the S Pen-bearing flagships is now scheduled to arrive on Thursday, October 24.

The update itself will introduce a range of new features which we went hands-on with earlier this month. These include an all-new gesture-based navigation system, smoother animations throughout the entire operating system, enhancements to both security and privacy settings, and a larger Quick Settings menu. The software might also include a fix to Samsung’s worrying fingerprint scanner bug which emerged last week.

Samsung’s beta build will initially be available in South Korea but is expected to make its way to the US, UK, Germany, India, France, Spain, Poland, and China soon after. The final software should rollout in late December or early January.
