Affordable LG K30 goes on sale at T-Mobile for $225 outright
As expected, US carrier T-Mobile has just added the entry-level LG K30 to its portfolio. Although we assumed the smartphone will go on sale for under $200, it appears that T-Mobile and LG decided otherwise.
If you want to buy this affordable smartphone, you'll have to come up with $225. There's also the option to purchase the LG K30 for no upfront payment and $9 per month for 24 months.
In case you didn't read our previous report, the K30 ships with Android 7.1 Nougat on board and, surprisingly, comes with fast charging capability.
Also, the smartphone has a 5.3-inch HD (720p) display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front. The LG K30 is powered by a 2,880 mAh battery that's rated for up to 13 hours of talk time or up to 10 days of standby time.
According to T-Mobile, the smartphone comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE capability and support for the 600MHz band. Well, that's about everything you need to know about the LG K30 and what it has to offer in terms of specs.

Hardware-wise, the K30 is nothing to be impressed with, but that's understandable considering this an entry-level device. LG has decided to go with a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB expandable storage.
